A285 Grade C Use:

A285 Grade C is a kind of common carbon steel, whose tensile is low or mid-low. There are three grades or levels material GR A/B/C in the standard ASME SA-285/SA-285M. Plates ordered to this specification A285 Grade C are normally in the as-rolled condition. A285 Grade C may be ordered from the supplier as normalized or stress relieved if so desired. The alloy A285 Grade C is not heat treated for hardening.A285 Grade C is supplied throughout the oil gas and petrochemical industry.The materialA285 Grade C has good forming and welding characteristics under conventional methods.
