JIS G4105 SCM 435 is a grade under Japanese standard alloy steel. JIS G4105 SCM 435 has high strength and creep strength, and good impact tenacity at low temperature. It can work at -110 °C to 500 °C . And JIS G4105 SCM 435 owns high static strength,impact tenacity, fatigue resistance, and hardenability; without overheating tendencies.
But its weldability is not good,so before the welding, it needs to preheat to 150 -410 °C. After welding, it needs heat treatment to relieve stress. Generally speaking,JIS G4105 SCM435 is used after quenching and high temperature tempering treatment.
