JIS G4104 SCr420 steel

JIS G4104 SCr420 is a cementation alloy steel. It has good strength and hardenability. After quenching and tempering at low temperature, JIS G4104 SCr420 can get good combination propertes and impact tenacity at low temperature, without temper brittleness. After normalizing and quenching and high temperature tempering, machinability is good, and welding performance is excellent( before welding, it needs preheating to 100-150 °C), so JIS G4104 SCr420 can be used as cementation steel.
